Delegate Access is the system that the University of Kansas uses to authorize third party access to an individual student record. Students can choose to designate a delegate to view information on their account in Enroll & Pay. This access can be granted or revoked at any time. Delegate access replaces authorized user access and the authorization to release information form.

What is a Delegate?
A Delegate is a person who is designated by a student to view authorized areas of their student account via a delegate account.
What information can a Delegate access?
Schedule only: view enrollment and course schedules for the current term.
Grades & Course History: view past semester course enrollment and officially posted grades for those courses.
Student Financials: includes access to the account balance, summary of current charges/payments, review of past activity, and view/print current and prior bills.
Student Financials 1098-T: grants access to current and prior year 1098-Ts. Students must grant consent to receive the 1098-T online before delegates are able to access this information in their delegate account.
Financial Aid: includes financial aid awards summary, satisfactory academic progress, scheduled disbursement dates, expected family contribution, cost of attendance, shopping sheet, and to-do lists.
Students may revoke access at any time.
Where do I go to log on as a delegate?
A direct link to the Delegate Login Page can be found from delegate.ku.edu
. Delegates will also receive a link to the page via the initial email.
I have forgotten my Delegate password. What should I do?
Once your student has granted you access, you will receive an email with a system generated password. If you misplace that password, you can click on the “Forgot My Password” link on the Delegate Login Page
How do I change my Delegate password?
You have two options to change your Delegate password:
- There is a “Forgot Your Password” link on the Delegate Login page (http://delegate.ku.edu) which will walk you through the steps to receive a new password
- If you are logged in, you can go to your Delegate Account options page to update your password
The information I need doesn’t seem to be on the page.
Students must grant delegates access to the areas in order for you to view them. Students may also revoke information at any time. Please contact your student to make sure that you have the access required. If access is granted and still not appearing, it may be helpful to clear your browser's cache
My student has granted me access to view their 1098T, but I am unable to see it.
In order for the delegates to see the 1098-T, two things must occur.
- Students must grant consent to receive the 1098-T online through their Enroll & Pay account.
- Students must grant their delegates access to view the 1098-T.
Is Delegate Access available on mobile devices?
Setting up or viewing delegate information in mobile environments is not yet enabled. Please use a full web version of the Enroll & Pay system to access delegate information.
I didn’t get the email from my student?
Make sure your student typed your email correctly when they set you up as a delegate if there is a typo in the email address it won’t work. Also make sure your student click on activate/notify when they set you up as a delegate. Your student has to add you in Setup delegate for you to sign on. Please be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder in your email system.
How does a delegate make a payment?
Payment delegates are handled separately from Delegate Access. To setup a Payment Delegate, visit the Student Account Services website at http://sar.ku.edu/pay-online.
